Junior Tennis Programs

STSC's Junior Development Program offers group tennis lessons for all levels - from those just starting out to more advanced players seeking to compete at the High School level or in tournament play.

Our classes are based on the RSPA Net Generation criteria that the coaches will use to assess a student's ability to be successful as they progress through our program. We believe that a student's foundation is the most important aspect of their later success and a protracted plan of developing a player at the beginning stages will yield a stronger, more flexible competitor.  Therefore, we will keep kids using orange and green dot balls and on smaller courts for a much longer time than many programs.  There are many techniques and ability's that take time to become second nature before real competition can begin.  The more the comfortable a player is with these fundamentals, the more accelerated their growth as they mature.

Lessons are fun with a emphasis on mechanics, grips and spins; as players advance, scoring, singles and doubles positioning, and strategy are introduced.

Junior tennis lessons are open to both members and non-members.
