  • ALL players are required to sign up for each session they plan on
    attending as space is limited.  Sign up at the front desk or by calling
    503-363-2424.

  • Classes will be charged by the session (4 days per session, except for
    little tennis), not by the class.

  • Class sessions will be divided into 10 sessions for the summer.  ALL
    players must sign up for each session they plan on attending.  Each
    class has a limited number of spots.  Signing up early is
    recommended.

  • Drop-In: There is no drop-in option for the summer sessions as they
    are only 4 days long for each session.  

  • STSC families with 2 or more players in a session receive a 10%
    discount.  (Does not apply to non-members)

  • STSC does not issue refunds for its Junior Program.  A credit on
    account will be issued for withdrawals from a session providing the
    request has been made 5 days prior to the start date.  Transfers can
    be made prior to the next session start date providing there is another
    class available.

LITTLE TENNIS  
8:30 – 9:00 am    
This fun, introductory class is meant to give our little stars a variety of different tennis-related games to
match their attention level.  We focus on hand-eye coordination with the help of targets, small racquets,
nerf balls, hoops, etc.

BEGINNER / ADVANCED BEGINNER:
9:00 – 10:00 am
This class is designed for students ages 6 -10.  The primary focus will be on a fun tennis experience,
emphasizing racquet feel, balance and hand-eye coordination. Stroke technique will also be introduced.

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED:  
10:00 – 11:00 am
This class is designed for students ages 9 - 18.  Players are grouped by ability.  Mechanics, grips, and
spins are central issues that will be covered.  Scoring, singles & doubles positioning, and strategies
will be introduced.

FUTURES:
11:00 - 12:00 noon
This class is for players not yet in high school.  This class is designed for advanced players interested
in additional playing time to improve their tournament success.

HIGH SCHOOL:
1:00 - 2:00 pm
This class is for students entering their freshman through senior year in High School. Players should be
looking to improve their tennis skills for the upcoming varsity high school season.  Players will learn to
focus on singles & doubles strategy, as well as consistency and stroke development.

ELITE I:
1:00 – 2:00 pm
This class is geared toward developing the mechanics and techniques of the modern game.  We
combine both live and dead ball drills to develop players going into their varsity programs and
challenger tournaments.  We put these players in various competitive environments to develop
composure under pressure.

ELITE II:
2:00 – 3:00 pm  
This class is for students playing multiple tournaments throughout the year at the champs level and
playing consistently for their varsity programs.  Our highest level class works equally hard to develop
physical and mental stamina and are adept at executing the techniques of the modern game.  Most of
the class is devoted to live ball tennis in both cooperative and competitive situations, and using said
skills to execute points.  * You must have the permission of the tennis pros to join this class.
